Factory Roofing
Roofing Repairs and Refurbishments for DS Smith
We carried out some major maintenance works for DS Smith as they have had cardboard from the factory blowing out of the machine and on to the roofs. We put a maintenance package in place which involved cleaning all roof gulleys, unblocking all downpipes and drains and installing a net which has stopped the cardboard from blowing over the roofs again. We will continue to do planned maintenance for DS Smith in the future.

We carried out this project to make the building wind and watertight without causing any loss of work time for the staff within BHT which meant strict health and safety policies being met to avoid going near the hot flue’s during peak times, providing extensive scaffolding and ensuring all employees were given toolbox talks daily about the complexity of the works being carried out. The project finished on time, on budget and was carried out in a safe manner for all involved.
