The Opportunity

As one of our Roofing Surveyors, you’ll be responsible for helping homeowners make informed decisions about one of the biggest investments they’ll make in their property.

You’ll own the customer journey from survey through to quotation, using your technical roofing knowledge to identify the right solution while delivering our Taylor Made Experience.

This is a customer-facing role that combines technical expertise, problem solving and sales. You’ll build trust with homeowners, accurately assess roofing requirements and prepare detailed quotations that help drive profitable growth for the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit homeowners across Central Scotland to carry out roof surveys.
  • Assess roofing defects and recommend the most appropriate solutions.
  • Measure roofs accurately and identify all technical requirements.
  • Prepare professional quotations and cost estimates.
  • Present solutions confidently and build trust with homeowners.
  • Follow our Taylor Made Experience throughout every customer interaction.
  • Maximise quotation conversion while protecting company margins.
  • Price variations and additional works where required.
  • Liaise with customers and internal departments to ensure a smooth handover.
  • Ensure all surveys comply with company procedures, health & safety requirements and relevant legislation.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has extensive roofing knowledge across pitched, flat and refurbishment roofing.
  • Has previous experience surveying, estimating or selling roofing projects.
  • Builds trust quickly with homeowners.
  • Enjoys helping customers solve problems.
  • Has excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Is commercially aware and understands profitable selling.
  • Is organised and able to manage multiple surveys each week.
  • Takes ownership and works independently.
  • Shares our values and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Holds a full UK Driving Licence.

The Opportunity

As our Sales Coordinator, you’ll own the customer journey from the very first enquiry through to completion.

This is much more than an administration role.

You’ll play a key part in delivering our Taylor Made Experience, ensuring every customer receives outstanding service while helping maximise every sales opportunity.

Working closely with our Surveyors, Sales Team and Operations Team, you’ll help homeowners feel informed, confident and looked after throughout every stage of their journey with Taylor Roofs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming enquiries and book appointments for our Surveying Team.
  • Build strong relationships with homeowners from their very first contact.
  • Follow up quotations confidently and professionally.
  • Maximise enquiry conversion and labour sales opportunities.
  • Guide customers through the sales journey with exceptional communication.
  • Develop a strong understanding of roofing systems, products and installation methods (full technical training provided).
  • Maintain accurate records using our CRM system (experience using BigChange or a similar CRM system would be advantageous).
  • Work closely with our Sales and Operations teams to deliver our Taylor Made Experience.
  • Produce sales reports and monitor pipeline performance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the customer journey.

The Opportunity

As one of our experienced Roofers, you’ll work on a wide range of domestic roofing projects across Central Scotland.

You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional workmanship while providing homeowners with the outstanding customer experience that Taylor Roofs has become known for.

This role is about much more than fitting roofs.

It’s about taking pride in your workmanship, solving problems, working safely and helping deliver our Taylor Made Experience on every project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out high-quality domestic roofing installations and repairs.
  • Install natural slate, concrete roof tiles and associated roofing systems.
  • Install and repair UPVC roofline products, including fascias, soffits, guttering and downpipes.
  • Install dry ridge, dry verge and hip systems.
  • Complete flat roofing installations and repairs.
  • Carry out leadwork, flashing and detailed finishing work.
  • Identify roofing defects and recommend the most appropriate solutions.
  • Work safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
  • Represent Taylor Roofs professionally in every customer’s home.
  • Deliver our Taylor Made Experience throughout every project.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is an experienced, time-served roofer.
  • Has a minimum of six years’ domestic roofing experience.
  • Takes genuine pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
  • Can work independently and confidently solve problems on site.
  • Has experience across slate, tile, flat roofing, leadwork and roofline systems.
  • Understands the importance of excellent customer service.
  • Is reliable, professional and hardworking.
  • Works well as part of a team.
