Community Commitment

They say it takes a whole village to raise a baby and it’s no different for a company. At Taylor Roofs we believe we can’t achieve our goals without our amazing team and our amazing community, so at every opportunity we will strive to involve the local communities that we serve, whether that be at our head office in Livingston or in the wider communities across central Scotland.

The benefit of having a community-driven approach is that our amazing customers get to see where some of their hard-earned money goes, you may see us sponsoring your local football team or perhaps
your kids sports team. Or you may see us helping out with a local charity that you are part of, as well as at some clubs like bowling greens and golf clubs. We really do everything we can to help the communities we work in and we are always open to ideas and suggestions from you.

From the beginning, the company value of “giving back” has been engrained in us. Therefore, in our first year we sponsored locally on a small scale, and it was always our plan as our company grew to give back more each year.

Thankfully due to our amazing customers we have grown year on year since we started, and with this so has our community sponsorships. Our hope is to continue with our community involvement and we will look to give back more as we continue to grow. Even when times are tough, as they can be for us all, we will still do everything we can to give back what we can, as we are nothing without the amazing communities we serve.

We sponsor our local Scottish Championship League team Livingston FC and this partnership has grown over the last five years since we won a pitch side advertising board in a raffle when we couldn’t afford one, to now having signed a 5-figure deal with the club. As part of this partnership we get a lot of tickets from the club to do free giveaways on our social media to allow kids and families to enjoy a match day experience, who normally wouldn’t be able to afford to go to a championship league football match. We have also had access to the manager and players who have helped us out with presenting trophies at local events. It’s not just the championship league club we sponsor though - we also help a number of kids' teams including Murieston and Whitburn 2012’s where we have sponsored match kits, jackets and training kits. We also support some of the local junior teams including Armadale Thistle FC, Stoneyburn FC, Whitburn FC and Forth Wanderers FC.
